Soltren Photography will be closed briefly while we mourn the loss of my beloved grandfather… Papa was the light of our family and will be dearly missed. All Sessions will need to be re-scheduled. Oh dear, I’ve been a bad bad blogger… The past few months have been very busy and absolutely wonderful My life has been filled with lots of portrait sessions, amazing weddings, a couple celebrity shoots, a perfect relaxing holiday season and then in January I drove up to Nashville for the Professional Photographers of America – Imaging USA Conference, where I spent a week attending classes, checking out a ton of new products, playing in the snow, freezing to death and having a ball mingling with some of the best photographers in the world. Right now, I am knee deep (literally) in Girl Scout Cookie Madness (need thin mints? ) but I promise to play catch-up and get all this fun blogged… there are too many amazing clients and images not to share!
I wanted to thank all of you who sent e-mails about the new website… I’m really happy with the new layout and there are even more fabulous (I’ve included a hint in this post but shhh it’s super secret) additions and changes coming so stay tuned… While you wait (and because no post is complete without some great images) here is a session from late 2009 – could he be any cuter? Nope!

What a sweet snuggly baby boy. He reminded me so much of my little ones when they were brand new, especially his full gorgeous head of hair! Such a great session… he slept like a champ and big brother was just as proud as I thought he would be! See Moms Maternity Session HERE.

Wow. She is stunning.
It’s so much fun when you get to a session and find out just how small the world really is! Not only was this family a referral from another client (thanks Shelley!) but once we started chatting we realized that this sweet boys mom works closely with my father!
