Oh… this family y’all!! Chele and I have been friends since we met online in a mommy forum when her boy and my youngest were toddlers and that friendship grew over the years and entered *the real world* through a love of everything Disney! We’ve spent many family vacations together, shared lots of up and downs and if I were to try to put a label on the depth of our relationship now… I’d say, we’re family. Chele is the sister I never had, John’s the big brother I know I can go to with anything and I love their kids as much as I love my own nephews.
These images were taken in Alabama in a soybean field behind their house (gorgeous view right!?) but the funny thing is that this particular trip started as a joke – My Pekinese had puppies and I (half) jokingly told Chele that I thought they should take one. John’s reaction was a big NO… then he laughed and said that if I finally took that trip to Alabama I’ve threatened to take all these years (hey, not my fault they always came to see the mouse!) and happened to bring a puppy with me it could stay. Well, Guess who has a new puppy?

We’re still on the road back home but I have to share this quick sneak peek from the amazing time we spent in Washington DC with Angelie + Justin. It was freezing cold but the light was perfect so we ran around the monuments shooting away until after sunset! Huge thanks to our adorable couple… not only for braving the weather but for taking the time to show us the sites during their engagement session! We can not wait to visit DC again!
